Maya Parbhoe is a serial entrepreneur. Starting her own import company when she was only 15 years old. The typical entrepreneur; starting with only a few dollars in savings, reinvesting profits and working long hours to build the company. That eventually enabled her to start her second venture, Icarus Systems, with co-founder Serge Tjin Wong Joe in 2015.
Icarus Systems is an established company offering engineering solutions and geosynthetic solutions to the mining, oil, gas industries and government. In the first 18 months since founding, Icarus Systems has grown into a multi-million USD company.
Revenue will grow exponentially in the next few years. Neither company has ever accepted any outside investments or taken out any business loans.
